THE ENGLISH WIFE has a cover!
May 9th, 2017

The English Wife has been completely finished, edited, copyedited, and proofed for months now. But, somehow, no matter how final the text may be, a book never feels quite real until it has a cover.

And here it is!

The English Wife

What do you think?

The English Wife takes place in the winter of 1899, when New York patrician Bayard Van Duyvil is found stabbed to death on the grounds of his Hudson Valley estate, his English-born wife, Annabelle, missing, possibly drowned. Did Bay push Annabelle into the river in a fit of jealous passion and then stab himself, as the gossips would have it? Or is it the missing Annabelle who is responsible? As rumors swirl and the cold spell gets worse and worse, Bay’s sister Janie takes it upon herself to try to root out the truth, taking us with her into the past, from London to Paris to Newport, as the secrets of a marriage unravel….

This January-set book will be coming to you on January 9, 2018.

The English Wife is available for pre-order from Amazon, B&N, Books-A-Million, Indiebound, Powell’s, and your favorite local bookseller.

This story sounds fabulous. The Hudson Valley brings to remembrance the artistic school and all the wonderful art produced there. Will any Romantic landscapes or, even better, Romantic landscape painters, be in the book? :-)
