New York, Las Vegas, Massachusetts– This Month!

I’m going to be flitting hither and yon over the next week or so, so if you’re around, come join the fun!

Here are the details:

New York, NY
Tuesday, April 12, 7:00
Andaz Wall Street
75 Wall Street

Come join the Pen Parentis Salon for what has been described in the press as, I quote, “a free and elegant event”. With free AND elegant, how can you go wrong? Amitava Kumar, Jessica Hagedorn, and I will be reading selections from our latest works and chatting about balancing writing and parenthood. (And when I say “balancing”, I mean tottering on the edge of a precipice with your laptop in one hand and a plate of dinosaur shaped chicken nuggets in the other.)

Las Vegas, NV
Saturday, April 16, 10:30-12:30
Pavilion Ballroom
Rio All-Suite Hotel
3700 W Flamingo Rd

Hundreds of romance writers are descending on Las Vegas for the RT Book Reviews Convention, which culminates in a giant book signing. Come find me in the W section between 10:30 and 12:30! (The signing goes until 2:00, but I’ll be fleeing early to catch a plane home to the East Coast, so if you want to find me, come before 12:30.) There is an admission fee and a limit on how many books you can bring from home, so check out the Book Fair rules on the RT site. If you’d like to have your books signed but can’t make it to the Book Fair (or want to bring more from home than they allow), send me a message, and I’ll try to find a time to sign books in the hotel lobby.

Burlington, MA
Saturday, April 30, 1:30-2:30
Boston Marriott
One Burlington Mall Road

It’s the New England Chapter of RWA’s annual conference, culminating in a Book Fair on Saturday afternoon. This event is free and open to the public– and, even better, ten percent of the proceeds go to the Massachusetts Literacy Foundation! Other authors signing include Loretta Chase, Megan Frampton, and Joanna Shupe. You can find the full list here.

Hi Lauren, are you doing any other events at the RT book review convention? There are so many great speakers and events!

There are! I’ll be doing a romance advocacy panel on Thursday with Julia Quinn, Wendy the Super Librarian, and Bobbi Dumas. (My publisher is sending books to give away at the event, so if you’re at the conference, definitely stop by!)
