My reading round up is sparse this week, but I do have some good news to impart…. Pink XI, aka The Mark of the Midnight Manzanilla, is DONE! (At least until revisions.)
Here are those triumphant final moments, accompanied by my second venti peppermint mocha of the morning (you know you’re in the final writing push when your coffee is taller than your computer):
And this is what it will look like on August 5, 2014:
I’ll post more about The Mark of the Midnight Manzanilla after the holidays, as well as news about my other upcoming books.
And now back to our regularly scheduled Weekly Reading Round-Up.
This week, I read Sarah MacLean’s No Good Duke Goes Unpunished, which I loved. It reminded me very much of my beloved old Judith McNaught novels, complete with wounded hero, plucky heroine, sweeping emotional highs and lows, and a leavening touch of humor in the form of Lavender the Pig. I am particularly fond of Lavender.
What have you been reading this week?
