Out and About on the Internet

I’ve been out and about on the internet these past few days!

On Saturday, I was thrilled to get to be part of Read a Romance Month, a celebration of the genre to which ninety-three (yep, ninety-three, including me) authors contributed essays on why romance– and romance novels– matter. You can find my essay about why romance matters here. (I blame my romance novel habit on Eleanor of Aquitaine– but given that she started the Courts of Love, I doubt she’d mind.)

Elsewhere on the internet, I had such fun doing this Q&A with Lois over at The Bluestocking’s Place. You can read about how the Pink series evolved, Miss Gwen’s book, and my issues with internet gremlins. (They’re hand in glove with the sock goblins.)

In other kinds of out and about, I’ll be skyping in to the Rhys Bowen event at the Poisoned Pen next Saturday (August 31) at 2:00 Arizona time. If you’re in Scottsdale, come on by! There will be signed copies of The Passion of the Purple Plumeria available, and, even better, Rhys Bowen. If you like the Pink series, you should definitely give her Royal Spyness books a try.

Read your essay, read your Q&A… love it!

Just popping in to say I loved Miss Gwen and Colonel Reid’s book, and the wildly purple-prosed bits of Miss Gwen’s novel were a total hoot.

Per the Q&A, are Tommy Fluellen and Kat Reid still slated for a book of their own, or are we just going to have to imagine them together.

Read your essay and loved the Q& A. I would love to read a Colin and Eloise mystery! What fun!
