Which Jane Austen character….

Today is the last chance to enter the website contest (click here to enter): which Austen character and which Pink character would you throw together?

One entrant, chosen at random, will receive a copy of The Mischief of the Mistletoe, in which Miss Austen makes a cameo appearance. If you already have a copy of Mistletoe, but want to share your two cents, feel free to post your thoughts in the Comments section below!

Oh, and while we’re talking Austen, check out this new BBC initiative: a Jane Austen inspired Facebook game.

I voted for Turnip and Mr Darcy–both rich, handsome, quiet, well-educated, good-hearted. I think they would make greqt friends.

I’ve already got a hardcover Mistletoe so here goes: I always thought either Miss Gwen or the Dowager Duchess would be able to smack some sense into Frank Churchill (“a most unsteady boy”). Marianne Dashwood needs a friend like Charlotte. And I wonder what would have happened if, after losing Darcy to Lizzie, Lady Catherine set her sights on poor Vaughn as a match for the Ailing Anne?

Pam, all of those are great!

Maybe Jane Fairfax joining the Pink Carnation team? I’ve always hated Caroline Bingley… she’d make a good double-agent/villainess.
