As some of you know, around the same time I was writing The Deception of the Emerald Ring, in the winter of 2005/6, I was also writing something else, a satire set at Harvard Law, based on the plot of Measure for Measure.
I called it Two L.
Two L enjoyed a limited circulation among my friends and various HLS faculty before retiring to my Old Novels folder. I was rather proud of it (it was my attempt to play Evelyn Waugh), but it was non-Pink, so I wasn’t quite sure what to do with it.
I am thrilled to announce that Two L will be emerging from the vault for its very first public appearance at the end of this month.

Something is rotten at Harvard Law. As the frat boys take over the Law Review and the law school sorority, the Veritarts, bring hems to a new high and grades to a new low, the Dean is very strangely gone, leaving in charge one Arthur Agnelli, a scholar of unimpeachable reputation. When a popular lecturer is accused of having an affair with one of his students, 2L Megan Milner reluctantly agrees to try to intercede with Agnelli. But is Agnelli really what he seems? And will the Dean return before the free coffee runs out?
Two L will be available on Nook and Kindle on August 29th. More next week….
