Turnip Time!

He’s baaaaacck! Today, on Smart Bitches, you can find the full, unexpergated (and did I mention free?) Amorous Addendum to The Mischief of the Mistletoe, “Away in a Manger: A Very Turnip Wedding Night”.

Thanks to the magical talents of SB Sarah, Turnip’s missing scene is available as a PDF download, in ePub format (for Nook and Kindle) and Mobi.

A brief word of caution: in compliance with the terms of my bet with Smart Bitches, the scene does dip into R-rated territory. So if you’d rather leave the door closed on that bit of Turnip’s life, you might want to stop reading about half-way through.

Huge thanks go to SB Sarah, for making me do it; to Joyce, for her amazing hand-drawn cover; and to all the Turnipsians out there. And, of course, to that massive heat wave last week. I wrote this during last week’s 100 degree weather in New York. If you notice a lot of references to snow and cold, put it down to wishful thinking….

Happy reading!

  16. Wonderful. Thank you.

I like the above-mentioned ideas of both Tiny Turnips, and a Turnip series.

BTW, I think “Turnip Time” will become my secret code/catchphase for, well, *you know*!

  20. The Mischief Of The Mistleltoe BEGGED for this because the book was just CHARGED with latent sexual energy between Turnip and Arabella. To not have them consummate their relationship would have been a downright crime. So very well done, as always, Lauren!
