Annapolis Book Festival: Saturday!

Come join me at the Annapolis Book Festival this Saturday! Held on the grounds of the Key School (534 Hillsmere Drive), the event is free and open to the public and draws together writers from every conceivable walk of publishing.

Among the attendees this year are Katherine Neville, author of The Eight; Jane Feather, whose romance novels I’ve been reading since I was a wee young thing; Mark Kurlansky, whose bestselling non-fiction includes the history of salt; William Cohan, who chronicled the rise of Lazard and the fall of Bear Sterns; Shane Harris, who writes non-fiction about the sort of spy-type things the rest of us can only imagine; Diana Peterfreund, who writes novels set at a school rather like Yale; and me. (You can click here for the full roster of authors.) As you can see, there’s something for everyone.

Between 2:00 and 3:00, the legendary Jane Feather and I will be talking about writing historical romance, with book-signing to follow. If you can’t make the panel, though, don’t worry. The festival runs from 10:00 to 4:00, so during those times when we’re not in panels, the authors will be in and out of the main room, signing books and ogling the amazing used book table. (Last time I went to the Book Festival, I came home lugging a truly alarming pile of books.)

See you in Annapolis on Saturday!
