Happy Birthday, Pink Carnation!

Today marks five whole years of floral escapades. When The Secret History of the Pink Carnation made its debut on February 7, 2005, I never thought that five years down the road Pink would have expanded to such a bouquet of books.

In all the Pink I birthday excitement, poor Blood Lily has been getting rather short shrift. Not so on the part of the Historical Novels Review. In their latest issue, they write, “Willig masterfully captures India and its allure at the beginning of the 19th century.” Huzzah! Thank you, HNR!
