Reading at Lady Jane’s Salon Monday

If you missed my reading of The Betrayal of the Blood Lily at Borders this week, fear not! There’s another chance to come see me ham it up at the podium coming up next Monday, February 1st, at 7:00 at Madame X on 94 West Houston Street.

This, however, is a little different from your average, run of the mill, common garden variety reading….

I am thrilled to be part of the one year anniversary extravaganza of one of romance’s most inspiring institutions: Lady Jane’s Salon. Founded by Leanna Heiber, Ron Hogan, Maya Rodale and Hope Tarr, Lady Jane’s Salon provides a space for romance readers and writers to come together, as well as collecting money and books for contribution to a charity called Share the Love.

This coming Monday, February 1st, we’ll all be coming together to celebrate Lady Jane’s one year anniversary with readings, champagne, and– because what birthday would be complete without them?– cupcakes. Sara Lindsay and I will both be reading from our latest books, cheered on by guest emcee, the charming and talented Leslie Carroll, author of the historical nonfiction sensation Notorious Royal Marriages.

The festivities kick off at seven o’clock on Monday night at Madame X on 94 West Houston Street. Whether you come for Blood Lily, Lady Jane, or those cupcakes, I hope you can join us in raising a toast to romance, writing, and sharing the love!

  1. Thanks for the lovely mention, Lauren, we’re so thrilled to have you back again, it’s hard to believe we’re one year old but it’s been a great year! And we’re so excited to hear your latest work!

    Blessings!
