General Inquiry

Now that I’m back from the writing rabbit hole and beginning to pick up the threads of normal life, I have a question for you all. As I get around to updating the site, what would you like to see here over the next few months?

Any and all suggestions are welcome.

Also, since I’ve never gotten around to adding a message board, would there be any interest in a) a weekly open thread for discussion of the books, and b) a monthly writers’ forum, where people can ask questions and exchange advice about writing/publishing?

  1. I’m sure we’d all love more excerpts and outtakes, for sure.
A weekly thread sounds fun as well.

Thanks for all you do for us, Lauren!

  3. Updates on what already here would be great and a forum would be fun. I’m dying to know who everyone thinks should be cast in the movies. :)

  4. I’d love to have a chance to talk about writing with others! I have writer’s block right now, so my book isn’t getting any longer. :-) It might also be fun to have a section for character “interviews”. (i.e. favorites, what animal you’d most like to be, etc.)just a thought.

  5. A message board or even someway to easily go back over old posts would be the best! Cause sometimes it’s hard to find exactly what you’re looking for.

Also this is a totally random idea, how about maps (of the time period), especially with the new book being in India maps would be great :P

  6. I love all these ideas people are coming up with!

The thread thing would be wonderful!

Also, I would love to discuss who would be casted for the movies. *winks* I’d totally be the casting director or the costume person. LOL. I’m not kidding. XD

  7. Some more outtakes would be fun, and i am all for the weekly threads. The map idea sounds interesting. I dont know about anyone else but i would love a sneak peak of the Blood Lily. Seeing what Eloise and Colin are up to would be awesome! Cant wait to see the new updates.

  8. Outtakes are great fun, but also a great way of fleshing out already fleshed out characters even more. Besides, I’m sure we’re all dying for more!

  11. I guess it’s sort of the same thing as outtakes, but I would LOVE LOVE LOVE more novellas. I’m sure you don’t have the time or the sanity to devote to whole books keeping us up to date with some of the older characters, but novellas are a fun quick way to make sure that all’s well that end’s well. I would love you forever! Not that I don’t already, but well, you know. Please?

  12. I was in Alaska for 2 weeks, so too late to vote for a book about dear Turnip causing comeuppance to some of the bad guys, but I love outtakes. They always seem great to me, and wish they were in the books. Would also love another novella, although I know it would be asking a lot. Thanks so much for everything you do. I love this website.

  13. I love discussions on books and reading lists. I would also enjoy a forum discussing writing. And I also 2nd the idea of maps for the time period relating to the books.
