BLACK TULIP Wins by Landslide!

The polls are closed. The vote is in. It’s official: The Masque of the Black Tulip is the most popular Pink Carnation book of them all.

I can just hear Miles and Henrietta gloating, can’t you?

Black Tulip triumphed in a landslide victory, scoring nearly double the votes of its nearest contenders. Tied for second place were the original Secret History of the Pink Carnation and The Deception of the Emerald Ring, with The Seduction of the Crimson Rose a very close third. Lagging way in the rear was The Temptation of the Night Jasmine, although Charlotte had a handful of loyal partisans of her own.

I have to confess– I know authors aren’t supposed to have favorites, but I have a soft spot for Black Tulip, too.

Were you surprised by the results?

The winners of the signed Night Jasmine cover flats, chosen totally at random, are Ashlee, Katherine Carson, and Tanza. Congrats, ladies!

Thanks so much to everyone for chiming in!

I’m so sorry I missed this! Stupid thesis…

But, I can’t say I’m surprised. Miles and Henrietta have an extraordinarily endearing quality as a couple, and as individuals. If nothing else, they’re the two people from the Pink Carnation series that you would really want to spend some quality time with!

somewhere, Vaughn and Mary are having a good entendre filled laugh over “society’s” opinions… 🙂

they are all truly enjoyable books, and congrats to the winners. You had a lot of them to choose from Lauren!

I had a feeling that the Black Tulip would win. I just see Miles and Henrietta doing a little victory dance. Richard is more than likely in the corner pouting. ^.^

Oh! I nearly forgot, congrats to les winners.

Lord Vaughn is absolutely the best! I think of him dripping sarcasm like Snape in the Potter series, only younger and more handsome. He and Mary are delightful! Black Tulip was the first I read in the series and it hooked me. Now I own all of them in hard cover and look forward to Blood Lily.
