Pink I in Hardcover

For those who were trying to track down The Secret History of the Pink Carnation in the original hardcover, it looks like fresh copies are currently available through Barnes & Noble. Get ‘em while they last!

p.s. congrats to Rebecca W and Jillian B for winning the book give-away on All About Romance!

  1. Lauren, I was talking to my friend the other day about which Pink book is our favourite (mine is Black tulip, hers is emerald ring) and I think this is because I relate most with Henrietta and she and her man quite closely resemble Geoff and Letty, maybe there could be a poll about which character people most identify with? Could be interesting…

  3. I actually did a couple of weeks ago. Thought it was a plumb find. I also found via B&N (via 3rd party) an almost new hardcover for Crimson, too. Worth it to replace the dust jacket on the one I had.

  4. I’ve seen a few copies of the different books in hardcover at the used book stores around me. I know Lauren doesn’t get anything from those sales, but I thought it worth a mention if someone is having a hard time finding one.

  5. Catherine, I think that’s an awesome poll idea! My favourites are Black Tulip and Emerald Ring because much like you and your friend, I identify with both Letty and Hen. There are parts of both of them that I see in myself and therefore hold their stories dear. That would make a great poll or book club question…

  7. Another great place to find hardcover editions is Powells Books. They are located in Portland, OR, and have a huge selection online. If you live in the area, you can even have the book delivered (free of charge) to the store nearest you, and you can pick it up. It can be a bit of a hunt to find used hardbacks, but the price is worth it!
