Video Clips from Lady Jane’s!

For those snowed out, on a different continent, or home watching The Bachelor, SB Sarah of Smart Bitches Trashy Books has provided video clips of last night’s reading! I’m very impressed by all this technology that was whizzing around last night. I still haven’t figured out how to use my digital camera.

More footage will soon be posted on the Lady Jane’s website, including the highlight of the evening: the story of Lord Johnny St. John, “the FBI’s principal English expatriate undercover cowboy race car driver,” an original composition by the boyfriend of Lady Jane founder Maya Rodale. You might want to be sitting down for this one. Preferably on a sturdy piece of furniture.

For those in the New York area, Lady Jane’s Salon will be convening next month, on April 6th, for readings by Maya Rodale, Alisa Kwitney, and special guest MC Smart Bitch Sarah.

  2. I’m so sorry I missed you last night! My car was buried under a two foot high snow drift thanks to the nasty wind and those darn snow plows. Definitely going to watch the video clips right after I post…

Please come back to NYC soon Lauren- preferably in the summer when there is not even the slightest possibility of snow!

  3. Cool! Wish I could have been there. Alas, Houston is a long ways away…but at least we don’t get weather like that!

Where is the short story of the British race car expatriate…cowboy? I’ve forgotten it…..anyway, is it actually posted anywhere yet?

  4. I just saw Tony’s reading and it was marvelous! I’m hoping to make it in for April’s salon - baring any snowstorms. Don’t laugh. It’s possible.
