I’m on TV at Barnes & Nobles!

Barnes & Nobles has a great new feature called Tagged where they pick favorite books and interview authors. I had a ridiculous amount of fun at the interview– which partly accounts for my constantly forgetting that I was supposed to be, er, looking at the camera instead of just chatting with super-entertaining Tagged host Molly Pesce.

In case you were wondering, we didn’t coordinate wardrobes beforehand. We both must just have been thinking pink that day….

I’d say the best moment of the interview was when we decided that the Pink books should come in Scratch ‘n Sniff. A great read and room freshener all in one!

  2. Congrats, Lauren! I watched the B&N interview and you were so chipper and friendly, bless your heart. :o) One weird/funny thing I noticed, though: You leaned repeatedly to the right in your chair. (What was that about?) And as soon as you said that of all your heroines, Charlotte is the most like you, I saw the strong resemblance between you and the young woman on the Night Jasmine cover. (Other than the hairstyles, you two could be twins!) Oh, and I loved the “scratch and sniff” idea. :o) Please pursue it — you might have something there. Congrats again, dear.

  3. It is really odd to hear your voice! Kind of like seeing pictures of radio personalities! It never matches up with what you thought it would be like…although I’m not sure what I thought your voice would be like, but it was lovely :)

  6. I didn’t think your voice sounded squeeky! And your hair looked very shiny and great!

  7. Aw, it’s so cool hearing the author of the books you love so. You were so adorable, great interview!

I loved the “I was tickled *pink*” part.
