New York Reading and Signing

Hi, all!

If you’re in the Manhattan area on March 2nd, please do stop by Madame X for the second ever meeting of Lady Jane’s Salon (wonderful name, no?) where I’ll be reading from and signing The Temptation of the Night Jasmine.

Lady Jane’s is a new group that features readings from two romance novelists every month. This month, I’m up, along with fellow Regency writer Jenna Petersen. The admission price is a gently used romance novel (and goodness knows we all have plenty of those on our shelves we need to get rid of). As well as being scrumbly good fun, it’s all for a good cause. Proceeds go to benefit a charity called Share the Love, which provides novels to women in need.

I live even farther West, in Washington State. Too far for me, oh well. Maybe someday, you’ll get to Seattle (or somewhere close). Happy reading.

We’re so thrilled to have you as one of our two March guests. I’m sure your reading will be delicious.

Also, for anyone who may not want to part with a cherished ppb romance from their “keeper” shelf, we also accept yes, cold, hard cash–$5 will get you in the door as well as a book.

The cocktails at our host venue, Madame X, are divine and the price–around $5–is more than recession-friendly.

You should definitely visit D.C. There’s a book festival on the mall every summer, at least I think there is. It was hosted by Laura Bush so who knows if it will happen this year.
