Speaking of snorting out loud, I’m looking at documents from the British Foreign Office during the lead up to WWI for part of my masters thesis and I came across a Lord Lansdowne. I totally started giggling on the spot.

I reserved Night Jasmine at my library the other day (it’s the only place I can get it because New Zealand only buys the paper backs D:) So I’m first on the waiting list yay!
My snort out loud moment was during Emerald Ring when Letty starting talking to/fixing up the dead Ms Gilchrist. I couldn’t stop laughing snd saying “Ohmygod” over and over again. But since I do all my reading at home or tucked away somewhere, the only person who noticed was my husband.
What a wonderful, informative interview! I have had several laugh-out-loud moments, many involving Eloise in the developmental stage of her relationship with Colin–she is so self-deprecating! Also, Miles is invariably good for a slapstick chuckle or five…

I have to admit, i have laughed out loud and unintentionally snorted while reading these books. Sometimes, in public places. In classrooms waiting for class to begin. In the student lounge in the English building. Where everyone else mind you is studying.
I love these type of books, and i swear if you mixed Charlotte with Eloise you would get me. Some of the stuff Eloise does… i have to keep telling my self i could not have looked that silly when i did it.
Oh don’t talk about last books. Last is such a sad word… But as I will read anything and everything, and have a To-Be-Read list longer than most people’s legs, I think I’ll survive.
I’ll echo everyone else: Anything you write, I’ll read. And those laugh-out-loud moments (with the odd, questioning looks from my sisters thrown in) are my favorite! Can’t wait for more.
Yes! I would read ten books (should you ever decide to write that many) devoted to Jane.
And the Seduction of the Crimson Rose is currently my favorite Pink Carnation book, too.
