The Thing About Tuesdays

Like all good things, the Tuesday trivia contests had to come to an end (especially since I had run out of advance copies of Night Jasmine). But I find that Tuesday lacks a certain zing without the excuse to hang out here on the Pink Carnation page. So, for the month of January, every Tuesday will be…

Crimson Rose Book Club!

This will be pretty low tech, since I’m pretty low tech, but the basic idea is that I’ll post a discussion question here on the News page every Tuesday in January, starting with January 6th, and everyone can just chime in and discuss from there. The paperback of Crimson Rose comes out on December 30th, so that gives us a nice little window before the official start of Book Club.

I’ll kick us off that first Tuesday with a couple of the discussion questions from the Readers Guide in the back of the paperback edition of Crimson Rose (for those of you who already have the hardcover edition, don’t worry– I’ll make the Readers Guide available on the site). After that, we can see what comes up in discussion and go from there. If anyone wants to contribute a question or play Guest Host for a week and run that discussion, just lob in an email or put in a comment in the comments, and let me know.

I’m very much looking forward to hearing what everyone has to say about Mary and Vaughn and the gang!
